The guidelines for pricing and inclusion to our website are as follows:
- Your resource MUST be breastfeeding mother and child friendly to be included on this website.
- Please read our Disclaimer before proceeding. By proceeding to submit your addition or correction, you agree to have read this page first.
- We will NOT accept advertising from formula manufacturers or any resource associated with the gross promotion of artificial infant milks, including magazines, books or websites that accept
or promote formula advertising.
- We WILL accept advertising from healthcare facilities or HCP practices that are making significant strides to become breastfeeding mother and/or baby friendly. We realize that this takes time. Please include steps that you are taking to become breastfeeding mother and/or baby friendly.
- Before you decide if you want to be included here, please assess your standing and/or agreement on the WHO Code for International Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes.
- Resources, support groups, healthcare facilities, providers, pregnancy, childbirth, baby and breastfeeding-related and *breastfeeding-friendly* businesses that are located in King County or that represent significant presence or relevance to King County residents (i.e. internet-only
resources) will be included.
- No offensive material of any kind will be allowed on this site.
- Each listing or advertising submission will be subject to review by the co-editors and may be rejected/refunded for any reason. An explanation will always accompany any rejection. We are flexible and open to discussion.
- These guidelines are subject to change at any time.

The $200 subscription fee includes one listing in the resource pages and one gold page ad from October 2004-October 2005. You may pay 4 quarterly payments of $50 each in order to complete the $200 subscription fee. Each additional listing or revision to a current listing is $25. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding pricing.

Terminology
The basic listing contains no graphic elements. The AD may contain logos, photos, and the like.
Basic Listing
The basic listing should be created in Word or can be typed into the body of an e-mail and should follow the format below. Incomplete listings will be returned to you for completion before they can be placed in the printed Resource Guide or on the Breast Friends Web site. If something does not apply to you, just type in "N/A" in that field.

Format of Ads for Web Site
Send your ad(s) as GIF or JPG images. Images are generally sent as JPG format if they contain a lot of color or actual photos. GIF images are more common for ads that contain little color and mainly all text. If you have any questions about which format to send your ad in, please email
angie@breast-friends.org.
Ad Dimensions for Web Site
Size dimensions for ads that go on the web site can be no wider than 370 pixels. For example, a common size for ads on the web site is 370px x 215px. Do not send ads that are wider than 370 pixels. You may send ads that are taller or shorter than 215 pixels.

You can send your ads for the web site as zipped file attachments to Angie Cordova at
