Services may include: clinic visits with a professional with expertise in breastfeeding, home visits by a public health nurse. Interpretation available for most languages, prenatal classes to learn about breastfeeding, breastfeeding support groups, postpartum classes about breastfeeding and returning to work, help in choosing a child care program for your breastfed baby, electric breast pump loan program for WIC clients, community referrals.

Services: Peer counselor associated with the International Community Health Services, headed by Women-Infants-Children Dietician, Marlene Okada. This clinic runs a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program. There is one mentor currently in the International District, Alice Cheung, who speaks Cantonese. She works with breastfeeding WIC clients who deliver at Swedish. She works with Maternity Support Services who are low income.
